At the end of a week's holiday at more pricey accommodations, what a pleasant surprise to find the Nierstein Best Western. Great price for a very spacious, spotlessly clean, cozy room for our family. Hotel staff was very friendly, the included breakfast was great, enjoyed in the outdoor patio area. Easy on/off the highway and just down the road from Mainz. The beautiful surroundings and Rhine views in the area were an added bonus.

Friendly, professional, supportive staff. We stayed three nights during the local annual winemakers' fest. The staff were extremely busy because of the festival, but they always found time to help with a smile. Excellent room, well suited for pets -- we were travelling with a large dog -- the hotel is well prepared for pets. There is an underground parking garage below the hotel (9.50 per night), which is convenient for taking the lift straight to your room. Very good breakfast buffet. We had two dinners in the hotel courtyard, both excellent in terms of quality and service.

Quality chain hotel, friendly staff, large room (suite), swimming pool (kids enjoyed it) and good breakfast. Open air terrace outside. Clean rooms, kitchen, lobby area. Bathrobes and additional towels are provided for the pool, direct access to the swimming pool from the rooms (no need to go through the reception). Direct elevator access from the underground (paid!) hotel parking to the rooms floor.

loved the room, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. the outdoor terrace was excellent very pretty and we were able to have our breakfast outdoors which was excellent. The choice for breakfast was superb we even had smoked salmon as well as all the continental delights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely spot. Great swimming pool and good restaurant which was also busy with locals. Breakfast was very good too. Our room was very good, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and outdoor eating area.

Great location if you want to get away from the city buzz. Perfect for hiking or cycling in the hills around. Even better if you are a wine lover - lots of wineries and tasting rooms. Good train connections to historical places along Rhine (such as Mainz or Worms).

A nice hotel, quiet rooms arranged around the courtyard. Comfortable bed, air conditioning you could switch off at night and made no noise. The bath (as opposed to a shower) was a bonus. Good food and wine.

The breakfast was excellent because there were many choices. I loved the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness. Having a last few lobby with plenty of seating was super. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

nice hotel and nice garden. breakfast is good. dinner was ok, but not great. staff are nice. only problem is there is nothing in that town. so you are confined to the hotel.
